With 328 million people, the U...

As revenues began rolling in from oil taxes, the Republican led legislature, along with the voters, put various funds into place to make sure that the money was both spent responsibly and saved for future generations. This careful planning has led, in part, to several funds, or “buckets,” established by the legislature to distribute spending on a priority basis, starting with the General Fund and ending with the Strategic Investment and Inf...

Rev Joe Greiner, Evangelical Free Church|Aug 6, 2018

I have blueberries in my garden. No, I’m not confusing it with haskaps or juneberries (neither of which do not taste like blueberries.) No, I have literal blueberries growing in my garden. If you don’t believe me, give me a call and I’ll show you. Just give me a couple days warning, so I can weed a bit. You’ll be as surprised as when my NDSU extension friend came and took pictures because she didn’t believe me, either. I’m proud of my berries because the truth is, while they are technically growing in North Dakota dirt, I’ve made it as unnatura...

  • Faith that cares enough to become involved

    Dr. Billy Holland|Aug 6, 2018

When difficult situations are presented, we become sympathetic, but how often do we consider that God may have brought these individuals to our attention so that we can not only pray but to actually intervene and help meet their needs? Instead of just discussing the situation and...

  • History of New Rockford: August 6, 2018

    K.C. Gardner Jr.|Aug 6, 2018

The November 1, 1901, “Transcript” stated that Principal E.R.
