    New Rockford traveled to Harwood on Tues., June 18 for a section doubleheader. Game One Post 30 scored one run in the second. Tucker Longnecker led off with a single to right. Cole Myhre drew a walk. Both runners moved up on a wild pitch and Longnecker scored on a balk. The locals scored six runs in the fourth, sending 10 batters to the plate, and they did this with two outs. Tyrus Smith knocked in two runs on a single.     New Rockford traveled to Carrington for an American Legion Baseball doubleheader on Friday, June 15. Game 1 counted in the section standings but not game 2. Game One The locals scored three runs. Bo Belquist led off with a double. Teddy Allmaras drew one out walk. Seth Soderholm doubled to left with two outs knocking in both runs. He scored on a single by Luke Ystaas.     SNR Babe Ruth Baseball began the 2018 season at Cando on Wed., June 13. SNR is in a different region this year, with Bottineau, Cando, Harvey, Rolla, Rugby, Towner and Turtle Mountain-Belcourt. Seth Soderholm is again the head coach this season. Cando defeated the locals by a final score of 9-4. Hunter Jacobson had the only hit for SNR. Individual and team stats were not available.
