  • Income levels for treatment service eligibility increase

    Income eligibility guidelines for treatment services available through the North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) Division of Special Health Services (SHS) have increased based on changes in the federal poverty levels. The change increases the amount of income a family can make and still qualify for services. Effective May 1, a family of four will be able to earn up to $47,638 annually (or $3,970 monthly per household) and still meet income eligibility.     Six sentenced on April 11 Brent J. Pavelka of Devils Lake was sentenced for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, both Class B Misdemeanors. The charges stemmed from a March 5 traffic stop on Hwy. 281, where a subsequent search of his vehicle yielded marijuana and paraphernalia.
