Three waste disposal companies submitted bids to the New Rockford City Commission Monday. While there was a clear low bid for the garbage removal portion of the contract, the recycling options were a bit murkier. The Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) for 2021 is complete. CHI St. Alexius Health Carrington and Foster County Public Health (FCPH) partnered on the semi-annual study. At approximately 4:47 p.m. on Friday, March 4, law enforcement officers from the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) and Foster County Sheriff's Office responded to a two vehicle collision north of Carrington.
