    On Thursday, June 10, the New Rockford Babe Ruth team traveled to Devils Lake and played two games, winning the first in a four-inning blow out 16-3, and narrowly losing the second 6-5 in five innings. New Rockford scored runs in all four innings of the first game. Every hitter scored a run. Brody Weisenburger led the Sox with three hits, three runs and two RBIs.     SNR finished up the regular season on May 18 when they faced Larimore in New Rockford. SNR won the game decisively 10-4, building momentum going into regional tournament play.     The Black Sox finished off regional play with a bang, defeating South Border (Wishek/Ashley) 5-0. The pitching by senior Evan Ulrich was the highlight of the game. A walk to the number nine hitter, Connor Kosiak, in the sixth inning was the only thing standing between Ulrich and a perfect game. Ulrich was able to pitch all seven innings with zero hits and five strikeouts on a very efficient 69 pitches.
